Interested in a future career in
law enforcement?

What is the explorer program?

Picture
A volunteer program for young adults ages 14-21 to participate in community events and police training. The program runs all year and is constantly accepting new members. Most members have an interest in pursuing a future career in law enforcement, but it is not required to join. The King County Sheriff's Office hosts 5 different explorer posts in multiple contract cities and unincorporated areas of the county. All explorer advisors are commissioned deputies with the King County Sheriff's Office.
